Srinagar, Aug 9: Police in Budgam today said to have arrested a person involved in illegal excavation and transportation of minerals from the Harwani Khansahab area of Budgam.
A police party of Police Station Khansahib have arrested 1 person and seized a JCB involved in illegal excavation and transportation of raw minerals from Government land at Harwani, Khansahab area of Budgam.
“The arrested person has been identified as Fayaz Ahmad Khan son of Mohd Akbar Khan resident of Hariwani Khansahib,” police said.
Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 187/2021 under relevant sections of law stands registered at Police Station Khansahab and an investigation set into motion.
