SAMBA, Jan 2: Bari Brahmana police has nabbed a youth impersonating as Army Lieutenant.
Police said while patrolling at Telli Basti area noticed that one person in army Lieutenant uniform was roaming in the area which created suspicion among the patrolling party.
On questioning he did not have any satisfactory answer and was unable to produce his army Identity Card which created more suspicion among the patrolling party. On sustained interrogation he disclosed that he is not an Army Officer and also disclosed his name Raman Singh, son of Pritam Singh of Rakh Floura, tehsil R.S Pura , Jammu.
A Case FIR No. 01/2022 U/S 420, 170, 171 IPC has been registered in Police Station (PS) Bari Brahmana, Samba and investigation has been started.
