JAMMU, May 16: A man has been arrested for killing his wife with sharp edged weapon near Paloura area.
As per police sources, a man identified as Dharampal, a resident of Nowshera, at present JK Colony near Paloura killed his wife Deepu Devi.
On getting information, a team from Police Station Janipur led by SHO Inspector Nayat Ali rushed to the spot and arrested the killer.
The body of the deceased has been shifted to mortuary of Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Jammu for autopsy, which will be conducted tomorrow.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Police Station Janipur and investigation started.
