Man arrested for selling illicit liquor

JAMMU, Jan 7: Manwal police arrested a man for selling illicit liquor.
As per police sources, on reliable information about sale of illicit liquor near Government Higher Secondary School Jindrah, a team from Manwal Police Post conducted raid and apprehended a man, who was selling illicit liquor among the masses.
During search, police recovered 15 small bottles of illicit liquor, which the accused was carrying in a bag along with Rs 14,500 cash, which he might have been gained by selling the illicit liquor.
The arrested person has been identified as Baldev Singh, son of Prem Singh, a resident of Jindrah.
A case under FIR Number 5/19 under section 48-F and 50 (1) RPC has been registered at Jhajjar Kotli Police Station and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge Police Post Manwal SI Kunal Singh Jamwal made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Jhajjar Kotli Inspector Sanjeev Gupta, SDPO Nagrota Mohan Lal Sharma, SP Rural Dushyant Sharma and SSP Jammu Vivek Gupta.
