JAMMU, May 2: Arnia Police arrested a man for selling illicit liquor.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Station Arnia led by SHO Inspector Harjeet Singh conducted raid and apprehended a man along with 23 quarters of illicit liquor.
The arrested person was identified as Vijay Kumar, son of Vakil Chand, a resident of Nikowal. He was selling the illicit liquor among the masses to make illegitimate profit.
A case under FIR Number 32/2021 under Sections 188 IPC and 48-F Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Arnia and investigation started.
