JAMMU, Sept 28: RS Pura Police arrested a man for setting his household items on fire.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged by a lady namely Rekha Rani, wife of Gurdeep Kumar of Ward Number 10 with Police Station RS Pura stating therein that she along with her minor children went to her maternal house at Hiranagar Kathua and in her absence, her husband namely Gurdeep Kumar, son of Charan Dass of Ward Number 10 RS Pura with criminal attention set the household and dowry items which were kept in the house on fire.
Due to fire incident all the house hold items have been destroyed, the complainant added.
Acting over the complaint, a case FIR Number 182/2022 under section 436 IPC was registered at Police Station RS Pura and the alleged accused has been arrested.
Further investigation into the case going on.
