Man arrested for smuggling bovines

RAMBAN, Jan 22: Police arrested a person for smuggling bovines to Valley.
As per police sources, a team from Gool police station intercepted a person carrying flock of bovine animals.
During questioning, the person failed to give satisfactory relies and was arrested for smuggling bovines to Kashmir via upper reaches. Police rescued four bovine animals from the possession of the accused.
The accused has been identified as Mushtaq, son of Noor Hussain, a resident of Dalwah Gool.
A case under FIR Number 2/16 under Section 188 RPC has been registered at police station Gool against the accused and investigation has been started.
Police team led by PSI Rajveer Singh of Police Component, Gool in coordination with SHO police station Gool Inspector Rouf Khan made the arrest under the supervision of DySP Operations Gool Vipan Chandran and SSP Ramban Randeep Kumar.
