JAMMU, Aug 28: Pargwal Police arrested a man for trying to outrage modesty of minor girl.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged by a minor girl with Police Post Pargwal stating that a man identified as Narayan Singh, son of Tarsem Singh, a resident of Pindi allegedly for tried to outrage her modesty.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 64/2021 under Sections 354 IPC and 8/12 Prevention of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act was registered at Police Station Khour and hunt was launched to nab the alleged accused.
On specific information, a team from Police Post Pargwal led by SI Om Parkash under the supervision of SHO Khour Inspector Balvinder Singh conducted raid and apprehended the alleged accused.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
