JAMMU, Oct 26: Jourian police arrested a man along with illicit liquor bottles.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Jourian Police Post laid a naka and intercepted a person, who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police recovered 20 small bottles of illicit liquor and arrested the person, who has been identified as Madan Lal, son of Gian Chand, a resident of Ward Number 10 Kalian Tehsil Khour District Jammu.
He was carrying the illicit liquor to his native area for selling among the masses to make illegitimate profits.
A case under FIR Number 225/18 under Section 48-F has been registered at Police Station Akhnoor and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge Jourian Police Post SI Anil Choudhary made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Akhnoor Ajay Sharma, SP Rural Dushyant Sharma and SSP Jammu Vivek Gupta.
