DODA, Mar 30: Bhaderwah police arrested a man along with large quantity of illicit liquor.
As per police sources, a team from Bhaderwah police station apprehended a bootlegger along with 43 pouches of illicit liquor.
The accused has been identified as Mukesh Rakwal, son of Sunit Ram, a resident of Khudwant, Shamthi, District Doda.
He was carrying the illicit liquor pouches to his native village for sale among the people to gain illegitimate profits.
A case under FIR Number 29/16 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Bhaderwah police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Bhaderwah Inspector Jatinder Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Bhaderwah Sajjad Khan, Additional SP Bhaderwah Sargun Shukla and SSP Doda ZN Manhas.
