KATHUA, Aug 1: Ghagwal police arrested a man along with 30 bottles of illicit liquor, a police official said.
The arrested person has been identified as Mohan Singh, son of Karnail Singh of Chhan Khatrian, Tehsil Hiranagar.
One of his associate namely Shashi Pal, son of Des Raj Sharma of Marheen, Tehsil Hiranagar managed to escape from the spot on seeing police team.
A case in this regard has been registered at Ghagwal police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Ghagwal SI Rajeshwar Singh made the arrest under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Samba Tanveer Ahmed and SSP Samba Anil Magotra.
