KATHUA, Sept 4: Rajbagh police arrested a man along with 135 pouches of illicit liquor, a police official said.
The arrested person has been identified as Darshan Singh, son of Khajjar Chand, a resident of Rajbagh, district Kathua.
A case under FIR Number 165/17 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered against him at police station Rajbagh and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Rajbagh Inspector Sarabjeet Singh foiled the bovines smuggling bid under the supervision of SDPO Border Ravel Singh Choudhary and SSP Kathua Mohammad Suleman Choudhary.
