JAMMU, Mar 25: Ukhral police arrested a man along with 40 pouches of illicit liquor.
As per police sources, during checking at Ramsoo-Ukhral Link road, a team from police post Ukhral intercepted a person.
During checking, police recovered 40 pouches of illicit liquor and arrested the bootlegger, who has been identified as Kunj Lal, son of Amar Singh of Phagmullah Ukhral.
A case under FIR Number 18/16 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at police station Ramsoo and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge Ukhral police post SI Anil Choudhary made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Ramsoo Inspector Mohammad Ameen, SDPO Banihal Mohammad Rafiq and SSP Ramban Randeep Kumar.
