JAMMU, Nov 21: Manwal police arrested a man along with illicit liquor pouches.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Manwal Police Post laid a naka at Jindrah and intercepted a man.
During checking, police recovered 44 pouches of illicit liquor and arrested the man. He was carrying the illicit liquor pouches to his native village for selling among the people for illegitimate profits.
The arrested person has been identified as Sheilo Singh, a resident of Manwal.
A case under FIR Number 108/17 has been registered at Police Station Jhajjar Kotli and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge Police Post Manwal SI Suresh Sharma made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Jhajjar Kotli Inspector Vikram Manhas, SDPO Nagrota Yashbir Singh Salathia and SP Rural Shivdeep Singh Jamwal.
