DODA, Jan 16: Police arrested a man and recovered illicit liquor pouches from his possession.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Doda Police Station laid a naka near Dak Bungalow and arrested a man along with 20 pouches of illicit liquor.
The accused has been identified as Mohammad Bashir, son of Tej Din, a resident of Dhanghate Bhagwa.
A case under FIR Number 6/18 under Section 48-F Excise Act has been registered at Doda Police Station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Doda Inspector Manjeet Singh made the arrest under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Doda Iftkhar Ahmed and SSP Doda Mohammad Shabir.
