JAMMU, Feb 28: Narwal police arrested a man for making forged documents of bovines’ transportation, a police official said.
The accused has been identified as Dalvir Singh, son of Waryam Singh, a resident of Bhour Camp.
“The culprit has been arrested after complaints from several counters about issuance of fake/scanned documents on the name of DC Jammu to the people for transportation of bovine animals”, police official added.
A case under FIR Number 63/18 under relevant Sections has been registered at Bahu Fort Police Station and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge Narwal police post SI Varuneshwar Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Bahu Fort Inspector Pervaz Sajjad, SDPO East Arun Jamwal and SP South Sandeep Choudhary.
