JAMMU, Oct 4: Pargwal police arrested a man with smuggled liquor.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Pargwal Police Post laid a naka and intercepted a man, who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police team recovered 30 quarters of illicit liquor from the possession of the man and arrested him.
The arrested person has been identified as Angrez Singh, son of Bachan Singh, a resident of Gurha Manasan.
A case under FIR Number 74/18 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Khour Police Station and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge Pargwal Police Post ASI Brij Paul Sharma made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Khour Inspector Joginder Singh, SDPO Akhnoor Ajay Sharma, SP Rural Dushyant Sharma and SSP Jammu Vivek Gupta.
