DODA, Aug 1: Karara police arrested a man for smuggling bovine animals.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Karara police post laid a naka at Sui Gwari and apprehended a man for smuggling two bovine animals.
The arrested person has been identified as Hamid-ullah Naik, son of Qutub Din Naik, a resident of Garsoo, Kehlot, district Doda.
A case under FIR Number 56/17 under Section 188 RPC has been registered at police station Thathri and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge Karara police post ASI Mohammad Sharif made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Thathri Inspector Manjeet Singh, SDPO Bhaderwah Brijesh Sharma, Additional SP Bhaderwah Shaazad Salaria and SSP Doda Mohammad Shabir.
