JAMMU, Mar 5: Nagrota Police arrested a man and recovered 1.30 kilograms cannabis from his possession.
As per police sources, on specific information that a person has hide some narcotic substance in his cattle shed and is selling the same, a team from Police Station Nagrota led by SHO Inspector Vishav Pratap Singh conducted raid and apprehended the man along with 1.30 kilograms cannabis.
The apprehended man was identified as Dewan Chand, son of Nand Lal of Chak Rakwalan Nagrota.
A case under FIR Number 81/2022 under Section 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Nagrota and investigation started.
The arrest and recoveries were made under the supervision of SDPO Nagrota Pardeep Kumar.
