Srinagar, Jan 11: Police today claimed to have apprehended a man carrying codeine phosphate bottles at Magam Bazar in Budgam district.
A police spokesman said during a naka laid at Magam Bazar, Altaf Ahmad Baba son of Ghulam Mustafa Baba of Magam was intercepted.
“After searching, 35 bottles of codeine phosphate were recovered from his possession,” the spokesman said.
He said a case FIR No. 5/2014 under Section 8/22 NDPS Act was registered against him.
