JAMMU, Aug 2: Bhaderwah police arrested a man with 6 quintals of banned medicinal dry plant (Zakhme Hayaat).
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Bhaderwah Police Station led by SHO Inspector Gurmeet Singh under the supervision of SDPO Bhaderwah and Additional SP Bhaderwah Raj Singh Gouria apprehended a man along with 6 quintals of banned medicinal dry plant (Zakhme Hayaat) concealed in around 19 bags.
The arrested person has been identified as Tehseen Ahmed, son of Ghulam Mohi Din of Sun Bain nallah, Thanala.
The seized medicinal dry plant has been handed over to Range Officer Neeru for confiscation.
It is pertinent to mention here that Zakhme Hayaat is a medicinal plant used for the treatment of kidney stone and it is very effective in wound healing.
