JAMMU, Aug 31: Akhnoor Police arrested a man along with banned synthetic thread rolls.
As per police sources, on reliable information, a team from Police Station Akhnoor led by SHO Inspector Hilal Azhar apprehended a person along with 7 rolls of banned synthetic thread.
The arrested person was identified as Raghav Gupta, son of Raman Gupta, a resident of Kashmiri Mohalla Tehsil Akhnoor District Jammu.
A case FIR Number 217/2021 under relevant Sections has been registered at Police Station Akhnoor and investigation started to ascertain the source of this dreaded thread, which already stands banned for sale by the District Magistrate Jammu.
