JAMMU, Mar 14: Bishnah police arrested a man and recovered illicit liquor from his possession.
As per police sources, on reliable information, a team from Bishnah Police Station led by SHO Inspector Rattan Singh conducted raid in Kotli Charkan area and arrested one person along with around 10 litres of illicit liquor. Police team also recovered and destroyed around 150 litres of lahan.
The arrested person has been identified as Mangal Dass, son of Sardari Lal of Kotli Charkan, Tehsil Bishnah.
A case under FIR Number 32/19 under Section 48-F/50 Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Bishnah and investigation started.
