JAMMU, Feb 21: Changa police arrested a man and recovered illicit liquor from his possession.
As per police sources, a team from Changa Police Post conducted a raid in a house and apprehended a man along with 30 litres of lahan and 10 bottles of illicit liquor from his possession.
The arrested person has been identified as Gandoh Kumar, son of Vidya Ram, a resident of Sewli.
A case under FIR Number 17/18 under Section 48-E Excise Act has been registered at Gandoh Police Station and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge Changa Police Post SI Ram Rattan made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Gandoh Inspector Anayat Hussain, SDPO Gandoh Sunny Gupta, Additional SP Bhaderwah Rajinder Singh and SSP Doda Mohammad Shabir.
