UDHAMPUR, Sept 23: Police arrested a man along with illicit liquor.
As per police sources, during patrolling a team from Udhampur Police Station led by SHO Inspector Vijay Choudhary intercepted a person near Jakheni, who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police team recovered 37 quarters of illicit liquor from the possession of the man and arrested him.
The arrested person has been identified as Mohan Lal, son of Balak Ram of Chunti, Chenani, District Udhampur.
A case under FIR Number 501/2020 under section 48 (a) Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Udhampur and investigation started.
