JAMMU, Apr 25: Bishnah Police arrested a man along with large quantity of illicit liquor.
As per police sources, keeping checking over violation of COVID guidelines, a team from Police Station Bishnah led by SHO Inspector Joginder Chib conducted raid at village Khairi and apprehended a person along with 15 litres of illicit liquor and destroyed around 100 litres of lahan. Moreover utensils and distillery were also seized on the spot
The arrested person was identified as Manohar Lal, son of Lal Chand of village Khairi Tehsil Bishnah District Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 76/2021 under Section 48 (E) Excise Act and 188 IPC has been registered at Police Station Bishnah and investigation started.
