JAMMU, May 7: Akhnoor Police arrested a man and recovered illicit liquor from his possession.
As per police sources, on reliable information, a team from Police Station Akhnoor led by SI Baljeet Singh under the supervision of SHO Akhnoor Inspector Hilal Azhar conducted raid and apprehended a person along with 6 litres of illicit liquor.
The arrested person was identified as Deepak Kumar, son of Babu Ram, a resident of Village Targwal.
A case under FIR Number 116/2021 under Section 48 (e) Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Akhnoor and investigation started.
