JAMMU, June 12: Akhnoor Police arrested a man along with large quantity of illicit liquor.
As per police sources, on specific information about sale of illicit liquor, a team from Police Station Akhnoor led by SI Baljeet Singh under the supervision of SHO Akhnoor Inspector Hilal Azhar conducted raid and apprehended a person along with 42 bottles of illicit liquor.
The arrested person was identified as Pawan Singh, son of Nand Singh of Devipur Tehsil Akhnoor District Jammu. He was a notorious bootlegger and various cases stands registered against him in he past also.
A fresh case under FIR Number 151/2021 under Section 48 (a) (f) was registered at Police Station Akhnoor and investigation started.
