JAMMU, Dec 22: Bishnah Police arrested a man along with 20 litres of illicit liquor.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Station Bishnah led by SHO Inspector Joginder Singh under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Shabir Khan conducted raid and apprehended a man along with 20 litres of illicit liquor, which he was selling among the locals.
The arrested person was identified as Manohar Lal, son of Lal Chand, a resident of Khairi. 100 litres of lahan was also destroyed on the spot.
A case FIR Number 183/2021 under Section 48 (a) (e) (f) Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Bishnah and investigation started.
The overall arrest and recoveries were made under the supervision of SP Headquarters Ramnish Gupta.
