KISHTWAR, Feb 10: Dachhan Police arrested a man and recovered illicit liquor from his possession.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team led by SHO Dachhan Inspector Vikram Singh under the supervision of SDPO Marwah Ashish Gupta laid a special naka at Soundar and intercepted a person.
During checking, police team recovered 11 bottles of country made liquor from the possession of the person and arrested him.
The arrested person was identified as Sadam Hussain, son of Mangta Chopan of Janakpur Dachhan District Kishtwar.
A case under FIR Number 05/2022 under Section 48 (a) Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Dachhan and investigation started.
