RAMBAN, Nov 4: Police arrested a man along with illicit liquor pouches from bus stand area here today.
As per police sources, on specific information, police team from Ramban police station raised a naka near bus stand here and intercepted a pedestrian for checking on suspicious grounds.
During checking, police recovered 40 pouches of illicit liquor and nabbed the accused, who has been identified as Rajesh Kumar, son of Bhagat Ram of Halla.
A case under FIR Number 118/15 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Ramban police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Ramban police station Inspector Vinod Kumar Kundal made the arrest under the supervision of SSP Ramban Randeep Kumar.
