JAMMU, Oct 25: Bahu Fort Police arrested a man along with large quantity of illicit liquor.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Station Bahu Fort led by SI Mohammad Iqbal laid a naka and intercepted a pedestrian, who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police team recovered 52 quarters of illicit liquor from the possession of the pedestrian and arrested him.
The arrested person was identified as Ajay, son of Om Parkash, a resident of Marathi Mohallah, District Jammu.
A case FIR Number 346/2021 under relevant Sections has been registered at Police Station Bahu Fort and investigation started.
