JAMMU, Dec 8: Gadigarh police arrested a man and recovered sharp edged weapon from his possession.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Gadigarh Police Post laid a naka and intercepted a motorcycle.
During checking, police recovered sharp edged weapon from the possession of the rider and arrested him.
The arrested person has been identified as Harvinder Singh, son of Yashpal Singh, a resident of Dharap.
A case under FIR Number 212/18 under section 4/25 Arms Act has been registered at Satwari Police Station and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge Gadigarh Police Post SI Gurpal Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Satwari Inspector Manjeet Singh, SDPO South Dr Sunniya Ashkoor Wani, SP South Vinay Sharma and DIG JKS Range/SSP Jammu Vivek Gupta.
