Man arrested with sharp edged weapon, cash

JAMMU, June 11: Gharota Police arrested a man and recovered sharp edged weapon and Rs 84,000 cash from his possession.
As per police sources, during checking at Thathi bridge a team from Police Station Gharota intercepted a scooty bearing registration number JK02CW-7387.
During checking, police team recovered a sharp edged weapon and Rs 84,000 cash from the possession of the rider and arrested him.
The arrested person was identified as Amardeep Singh, son of Amar Singh of Bardal, Akhnoor District Jammu.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Police Station Gharota and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Gharota Inspector Rajesh Khajuria made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Akhnoor Varun Jandial.
