Man arrested with sharp edged weapons, cash

JAMMU, Apr 3: Miran Sahib Police arrested a man along with two sharp edged weapons and Rs 12.50 lakh cash.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Police Station Miran Sahib led by SHO Inspector Mirza Sultan laid a naka under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Surinder Singh and intercepted a Bolero car.
During checking, police team recovered two sharp edged weapons and Rs 12.50 lakh cash from the vehicle and arrested the driver, who was identified as Charanjeet Singh alias Dola, a resident of Phinder District Jammu. For recovered cash, Miran Sahib Police has written to the Income Tax Department.
However, a case under Section 4/25 Arms Act has been registered against the arrested person at Police Station Miran Sahib and investigation started.
