JAMMU, June 22: Kanachack Police arrested a man with stolen motorcycle.
As per police sources, on June 17 this year, a complaint was lodged by a person namely Manohar Lal Sharma, son of Om Parkash Sharma of Jandiyal Thati with Police Station Kanachack regarding theft of his motorcycle bearing registration number JK02BJ-8169 from Gurha Pattan.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 90/2021 under Section 379 IPC was registered at Police Station Kanachack and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, a team from Police Station Kanachack led by ASI Mohan Singh arrested the thief along with stolen motorcycle.
The accused was identified as Manmohit, son of Subash Chander of Jandyal Thati Tehsil Bhalwal District Jammu,
Further investigation into the case is going on.
The arrest and recovery was made under the supervision of SHO Kanachack Inspector Vishav Partap Singh, SDPO Domana Kosheen Koul and SP Rural Sanjay Sharma.
