JAMMU, Jan 29: A man was attacked and injured by three brothers and their associates with axe in Gujjar Mohallah area of Janipur here today.
As per police sources, three brothers identified as Munir Hussain, Bagh Hussain and Tej Hussain, sons of Muna, resident of Chinore Farm Gajansoo Marh along with their associates had some altercation with a person namely Mohammad Billa, son of Haji Alaf Din, a resident of Karloop Marh District Jammu at Gujjar Mohallah in Janipur.
Later, the situation turned violent and Mohammad Billa was attacked with axe by Munir Hussain, Bagh Hussain, Tej Hussain and their associates and later escaped from the spot.
The victim received grievous head injury in the attack and was rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Jammu, where he was responding to the treatment when last reports came in.
A case under FIR Number 08/2022 under Sections 307 and 34 IPC has been registered against tha attackers at Police Station Janipur and hunt has been launched to nab them.
Further investigation into the case is also going on.
