Man attacked with sharp edged weapon at Ramgarh

SAMBA, July 8: A man was attacked with a sharp edged weapon at Nandpur area of Ramgarh Sector in district Samba late last night.
According to the police, the incident took place last night when the two people attacked one Ashok Kumar, son of Kirpa Ram with sharp edged weapon as they were having old enmity with him. They attacked him late last night and inflicted injuries upon him. Some people immediately informed to police regarding the incident. After getting the information SHO Ramgarh, I.P Singh along with police team immediately rushed to the spot and shifted the injured person to Community Health Centre (CHC) Ramgarh for treatment where doctors gave him first aid, and then referred him to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Jammu for further treatment.
After the incident the accused persons tried to flee from the spot but the police chased them and arrested both of them.
The accused have been identified as Billu and Shosho both sons of Bachan Lal resident of Nandpur district Samba has been arrested.
In this connection a case FIR No 72/2020 under section 307/451/323/34 RPC stands registered at Police Station Ramgarh.
