JAMMU, Jan 28: A man was attacked by three persons with sharp edged weapon in the area falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Nowabad, a police official said.
The injured was identified as Vikas Khajuria, son of Girdhari Lala Khajuria of Ashok Nagar.
A complaint was lodged by Raj Kumar Khajuria with Police Station Nowabad stating that his cousin brother Vikas Khajuri has been attacked by Akshay, Raghav and Rahi with sharp edged weapon.
The victim was rushed to GMCH Jammu and later shifted to a hospital in Amritsar.
A case under FIR Number 20/2021 under Sections 307, 341 and 34 IPC and 4/27 Arms Act has been registered at Police Station Nowabad and hunt has been launched to arrest the accused.
