UDHAMPUR, Sept 28: A young man attempted suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at his residence in Battal Majalta, here today.
He has been identified as Raj Kumar (33) son of Babu Ram of Battal Majalta. The other family members noticed him lying in serious condition and vomiting. They rushed him to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors referred him to GMC Hospital Jammu in view of his deteriorating condition.
Cause behind the provocation could not be ascertained while Police has registered a case in this connection.
