JAMMU, Feb 24: A man has been booked for grabbing forest land in Sunjwan area, falling under the jurisdiction of Bahu Fort police station.
As per police sources, a written complaint was lodged by Forest Department with police station Bahu Fort that a man identified as Mohammad Aslam, son of Hasim Din, a resident of District Doda is illegally constructing house on forest land with khasra number 371.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 41/16 under Section 6/36/37 Forest Act and 447 RPC has been registered against the man at Bahu Fort police station and investigation started.
