JAMMU, Dec 29: A man has been booked for kidnapping a married woman.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged by a man with Police Post Sidhra stating that a man identified as Babu, a resident of Akhnoor kidnapped his wife, with whom he (complainant) got married around nine months back.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 465/2020 under Section 366 IPC has been registered at Police Station Nagrota and hunt has been launched to rescue the kidnapped woman and arrest the abductor.
