JAMMU, Oct 24: A man has been booked for molesting a lady during shopping.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged by a lady hailing from Malik Market area with Police Station Gangyal stating that on October 12 this year she had gone for shopping of some utensils from a shop in Gangyal when a man identified as Jalad Choudhary, son of Padam Singh, a resident of Sainik Colony followed her and later touched her inappropriately when she came out of the shop.
The lady also alleged that Jalad Choudhary used unparliamentarily language and later fled from the spot when she raised hue and cry.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 118/19 under section 354 RPC has been registered at Gangyal Police Station and hunt has been launched to nab the molester.
However, no arrest was made till last reports were compiled.
