JAMMU, Feb 13: A man has been booked for raping girl on marriage pretext.
As per police sources, a girl hailing from Kunjwani lodged a complaint with Police Station Gandhi Nagar stating that a man identified as Sandeep Kumar, son of Janak Raj of Preet Nagar made physical relations with her on the pretext of marrying her but later refused.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 40/2021 under Section 376 IPC has been registered at Police Station Gandhi Nagar and investigation started.
