JAMMU, Feb 17: A man hailing from district Kathua has been booked for raping widow on marriage pretext.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged by a widow with Police Station Gangyal stating that a man identified as Vishal Kumar, son of Krishan Chand, a resident of District Kathua made physical relations with her on pretext of marrying her, but later refused to marry.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 23/2021 under Section 376 IPC has been registered at Police Station Gangyal and investigation started.
