POONCH, Aug 23: The Police today booked one person for spreading rumours in the public through social media in Poonch district.
Official sources said that one Manir Hussain, son of Lassa, resident of Sanglanie village in Tehsil Surankote has been detained by Surankote Police for spreading rumours.
The Police booked him under 45/108 CrPC and produced him before the Executive Magistrate.
