JAMMU, Aug 19: A man allegedly committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance in Sunjuwan area of city outskirts.
“Ramesh (27) son of Sura Ehereval, resident of Madhya Pradesh, allegedly consumed some poisonous substance at his rented accommodation at Sunjuwan late last night,” a police official said.
He said finding the Ramesh in unconscious condition, his brother rushed him to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where he was declared as brought dead by the doctors.
Bathindi police had taken cognizance of the matter.
