SAMBA, Dec 11: A man consumed poisonous substance under mysterious circumstances at his residence at village Barota camp area of Sector Ramgarh in district Samba today.
Giving the details, the official said that, during the intervening night, one person namely Kamaljeet Singh, son of Ujagar Singh resident of Barota camp, Ramgarh consumed poisonous substance in his house under mysterious circumstances. When family members saw him in unconscious condition, they immediately brought him to Community Health Centre, Ramgarh where doctors washed his stomach and then referred him to Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu for further treatment.
In this regard, police has taken cognizance of the matter and started further investigations but the reason behind the extreme step could not be ascertained.
