POONCH, Sept 28: A man who was serving as teacher in Jamia Zia-ul-Uloom Poonch died accidently in Arai area of Tehsil Mandi in Poonch district today.
Official sources and family members said that he came from Poonch on motorcycle, parked it and was standing there at the edge of road side when his foot slipped and fell down. He was taken to SDH Mandi and shifted to DH Poonch after initial treatment but succumbed to injuries midway at Chandak.
Deceased was identified as Mufti imtiaz Ahmed, son of Ghulam Din, resident of Arai, in Mandi block. Doctors in SDH Mandi said that his ribs were fractured in the accident, Meanwhile his body was handed over to family after legal formalities.
