JAMMU, Feb 24: An elderly man died after being hit by a train at Railway Station Jammu, police said.
They said Lalman Sharma, 68, son of Chatru Ram of Trikuta Nagar Jammu, was hit by a train today, resulting in severe injuries to the elderly man.
He was taken to Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu, where doctors declared him as dead on arrival, police said.
Police Station GRP Jammu has registered a case under relevant sections of the law and taken up further investigations.
